Far from being the most famous album of Van Halen For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge is nevertheless one of their best. It is true that we can continue to regret the absence of David Lee Roth, somewhat aped by Sammy Hagar making tons, but other than that, there's not much to fault this disk. Hagar's still a great singer and did a great job; almost all the pieces are cut tubes for concerts, full of good melodies and great arrangements; technically it monstrously play well, proof that we can do in the demonstration without being boring; basically, you never get bored with this album often muscular and always perfectly controlled. Indispensable in a hard rock CD collection. 18/20
