Scope of supply:
The package includes not only the actual charger nor a power cord and a brief manual, but this only in English. The transparent and somewhat tricky to open plastic packaging is unnecessarily wrapped in foil again all in all little environmentally friendly manner.
Function:
The device is properly processed, does what it should and the good. You can load all terminals so that can be charged via USB normally in principle. It works for example with eBook readers, even if they are not explicitly listed in the item description with. Devices with charging currents under 1A can also be connected, as the terminal determines how much power it draws. So it is basically no problem, when the charger is capable of a higher charging current (in this case max. 2.1A) to provide, as the terminal actually requires.
The charger heats up only slightly during charging. The purpose of the blue LED has not really opened up to me. You already lights up when you plug in the power cord and does not change while it is charging. So you simply indicates that the charger is connected to the power grid.
According to the manufacturer and the product description Charger met among others also with CE safety standard. On the device itself, there is, however, neither a CE mark nor any other identification or even a seal of approval. Here, then every user must decide for himself whether he is important and what devices he used with this charger.
Conclusion:
Flawless function, but imported goods, any German instructions, no CE mark
Note: This article has been provided to me as a free review copy available from the manufacturer. So far there are no problems with the device. Should any similar abnormalities in the subsequent period give, I will update the review as soon as possible.
