positive:
+ Solid carrying box
+ Simple assembly
+ Overall very stable impression
+ Really nice and light and so on hangers easily stowed by one person under the garage ceiling
negative:
- The extendable wheel holders can be moved only by lifting at either end; Once you have the trick out, so the shift is not a problem. There is a lack of a corresponding note in the manual.
- Now to the real problems: we have two 16 'mountain bikes (Fullys with four-link rear suspension) Of which a wheel with ladies geometry and a Herrenradgeometrie It involves Simplon-wheels (Vorarlberg) Mosquito model with aluminum frame...
I'm sure not technically very untalented, but I have a total of nearly two !! Hours needed to find a position of the wheels to each other and to the mounting bracket, which allows for stable fixation. It was especially necessary, inching sideways to move the wheels against each other, and to vary the positions of the holding bars over and over again. After about 40 variants at last position has fitted a variant! Here, an additional locking latch (removable) would have been a great relief at the mounting bracket.
I was in between a couple of times already so far as to retourniern the carrier as for me unusable.
Now I have the breakpoints at the mounting bracket and the wheels meticulously marked to allow future faster wheel assembly!
