For Use fine tuning!

I attach great importance to a well-groomed appearance and because of some hair areas include the "socket" definitely one of them.
For this I have all sorts of helper for trimming, I used to date the Braun Silk-épil FG 1100th
The Brown was the best device for this claim but still not perfect.
So naturally I was very excited about the Philips Satin Compact Body and Face Trimmer ...

My findings:

The Philips is quite plastic-heavy, yet not suitable for wet application.
The feel is somehow "fragile", you always somehow when changing attachments fear cancel anything (at least in the long run).
The solution with 2 different cut lengths of eyebrow comb is still very cheap, hopefully the good piece is always properly placed so that one at eyebrow shaving experienced no unpleasant surprises ...

The shaving performance of both essays is very good.
The hair is nearly as cut short as in the use of a blade wet razor.
Even the finest fuzz hairs on the face to be removed cleanly.
Due to the design, the hair can be very precise trim.

The battery voltage tends to decrease after a few uses, what the Philips signaled by audible deterioration in the performance.

Conclusion:

The Philips HP6393 / 00 Satin Compact Body and Face Trimmer operates in its actual function really well.
But greater bandwidth (such as the called Braun Silk-épil FG 1100), he can not cover.
The design is, although visually attractive, rather plastic-heavy and not very robust.
For the performance offered is the (current) prices, for my taste, far too high.
