I play Forza 4 without driving aids (no ABS, no traction control, etc). The Wheel responds accurately to the smallest steering movements, what surprised me very pleasantly. After the first round with the Wheel I was (negative) stunned. I could not even begin to lap times with the pad, even worse, in many curves have flown. You take the pad unlike the Wheel. You control the pad in curves by frequent tapping of sticks, so the Wheel (realistic) requires a consistent, careful relent. This will require some familiarization. After about 2 hours testing I got the hang of.
Conclusion to driving: It's definitely more fun than driving with the pad. However, it is difficult - but it has to get out, then you can actually drive better times than with the pad.
Negative reveals the lack of LB / RB button. In Forza as these are imperative for a few menus and settings. Driving with circuit is not possible. However, there is a trick for the menus: The Wheel by pressing off the XBox button, activate the gamepad in the same way (must be previously switched off), now make the desired settings and exchange in the same way the device again.
What also bothers me: (but is rather an XBox software problem). There is no battery warning. The batteries are apparently equal to empty from now on and the XBox pauses the game. Have fun if you're just in a curve ...
Conclusion: For the price a fun alternative to the gamepad.
