I have for some time been the Fritz Box 7170 and am very happy with it!; is notable especially that AVM provides a good support and even after years of firmware updates the capabilities of the Fritz! Box 7170 extended. This circumstance and the change from the Telekom to Unitymedia led me to choose a collective variant in which my Unitymedia the Fritz! Box 6360 Cable makes available (surcharge incl two lines with three phone numbers:.. 5 per month!). I use the Fritz! Box as a cable modem, router, PBX for Internet telephony, fax recipient (incoming faxes are sent to me by e-mail) and, above all, as a media server. I also note from the USB connection to a printer on the network. The features and settings are outstanding and convincing. The DECT function I need at the time not yet, so I could not test the functionality and scope. Customers place primarily importance to the wireless features, I can the Fritz! Box 6360 Cable is not recommended. Although Box 6360 Cable supports Fritz unlike the Fritz Box 7170 WLAN 5 GHz and the standard for the wireless transmission of 300 Mbit / s!; WLAN coverage, however, is significantly lower than that of my old Fritz! Box. I have the new exactly at the same place (upstairs) as the old Fritz! Box set and tried all possible settings proposed by AVM to improve wireless transmission.
