One should not compare official and elaborately reworked live recordings like Live 75-85 or live in NYC such, is not officially authorized bootleg live recording. This picture here is clearly marked as bootleg and therefore one must of course compromising on sound and sound quality make. The single most crucial question is whether this "remastered" Taking the present years bootleg recording piece de resistance is different and so far justifies an output of 29 Euro. This is m. E. unfortunately not the case. On the contrary, to my ear to hear my old bootleg rather slightly better than on this recording. The sound fluctuations are exactly the same, but the sound of the bootlegs latches bit crowded for me and is also slightly louder. From a remastering is absolutely nothing to hear. So, all those who possess the Bootleg already can confidently dispense with this 3-CD box.
Overall, however, one must also say that the sound quality for a bootleg from 1978 (!!!) is excellent. Of course there are volume fluctuations and other out mixed with official recordings noise. But anyone who knows bootlegs from the 80s, the time were exchanged in the schoolyard on tape, will certainly agree with me that the sound of this bootlegs is quite outstanding.
PS As it is with the quality of the total product, may also be ascertained through the title is misspelled. It must really hot Passaic and not Passiac! Thank you Floyd for the hint. ;-)
