Its value for money is unbeatable hence the 4 stars. Small, it is ideal for a couple or 3 people. After unpacking and cleaning, it takes 3 liters of oil to reach the level required for its operation. The light turns red and turns off when the desired temperature is reached. Then the basket makes it possible to fine cut potatoes into French fries or slices. Beyond that, there is a risk of overflow oil or it becomes difficult to stir while cooking french fries. The basket hangs on the outer rim of the fryer so a few drops of oil fall on the front of the fryer. Fortunately it is easy to clean. I use it at full power under the hood since this type of fryer has no filter. Cutting my cover is not like the picture, it remains a central strip that should have come between the two resistors. No luck, it is too wide so my cover can be flat on the fryer. The power cord fits into a cavity at the rear of the engine block, very practical for storing the device in a small closet.
