Installation is fairly simple, but still requires a minimum to complete it:
Connect The wi-fi amplifier mains, wait until it "heats" (indicating a diode), and there appears among your network devices. In there you will need to enter the logging pass your initial Wi-Fi network (the one that comes from the box).
So far everything is good, the signal is greatly amplified, reaching places that were initially out of reach. Take care any time to place it halfway between the box and LENDROIT to cover, and play with the position of the antenna to get the best signal.
From there, it gets a little more technical because we will:
1 - change the password of the amplifier, without that it gives direct access to the password for your network. In the brochure delivered, a small section shows how to connect to the interface of the wi-fi amplifier to do this kind of setting.
2 - Update the firmware for the wi-fi amplifier. To do this you must:
Go to the Linksys website;
Go to the template page;
Go to Downloads;
Download the patch;
And install it.
It's simple but a tad tedious, and you have to do.
Audio streaming is done through the DLNA standard. Certain mobile audio playback programs do not support. iTunes he, the support for example. So if the function interests you, ask about your favorite audio player program, to see if there is DLNA compliant before trying to make it work.
