Fun and refreshing.

Battlefield Hardline is contrary to my expectations really recommended. Anyway
if you will again play a Battlefield title in which the campaign is not total
Rotz is the multiplayer and something turns away from "war action".

SP mode:

Bad Company 2 was the last part of the series of even a halfway reasonable
Had single player part. Part 3 was able to barely score and the story mode of Battlefield 4

What makes the single player fun Part are in addition to the new features (more on that below gameplay) namely, the staging and the humor (with the help of music, dialogue and interface technology within the sequences). Above all, the humor of the Battlefield series does really well because otherwise were only the bugs and glitches in the game to laugh (and cry). People have the Battlefield 4 bought the release should agree with me because surely.

The duration of the campaign can be classified as average. On the one hand Battlefield was never really a single-player game but on the other hand, you would hardly have survived if EA would have done so on as in Battlefield 1942 (the first part - Multiplayer only). Since Bad Company So what one tries to offer the individual players and with Hardline have been found back in the track. The story itself is not deserving of Oscar, but unterthält and prepares the players to some extent on the multiplayer part before.

Technology:

First, the following: Hardline uses as well as Battlefield 4 Internet Browser as the main menu (at the console version, it will probably not be so). On the one hand a bit awkward because you have to choose between SP and MP and if you sometimes just want to test graphics settings it takes a little longer depending on the computer. A simple benchmark program like Dragon Age: Inquisition or Half-Life 2 is missing there. Owners of a more recent nVidia graphics card can of course directly optimize the settings but not everyone has a nVidia graphics card. However, this is only an example. Personally, I'm still a fan of the "normal" main menu (mainly because the "Website" Hardline for my claims is very confusing), but I got used to the current version and in the end you will be the single-player part probably eh only one time play. Each of the targets can reasonably should start directly to veteran and then go to the multiplayer.

Graphically, has not done much. Anyway, I is not a quantum leap or similar noticed. Hardline sees how well Battlefield 4, very good. At first glance, even grandiose. But precisely in multiplayer striking that internal facilities to miss, for example so many details that it is no great art to make the rest look top (and not to blow up the graphics card). What I mean are thus for example, the typical spaces where nothing absolutely nothing stands. No table and no chair. Only a square with lamps and windows. But okay, because in multiplayer at the end (almost) everything flies through the air, it may be even waste of resources.
Hardline uses, as well as Battlefield 4, the Frostbite 3 engine, which was developed primarily for destruction to make real and look good. This works almost always (some explosions, for example, by fences or non-existent reaction of some shrubs and trees are not just a showcase for the engine).
And since Hardline just not playing at war, you can not destroy as many buildings. For my taste a little too little but that's changing determined with the coming DLCs and patches and "Hasse not seen".

The sound leaves nothing to be desired for me. Heavy bass, (at least in the original sound), real looking sound and a great soundtrack can be found a very strong Synchro in Hardline. For surround sound, I can not write anything (because the neighbors;)).

Gameplay:

Unlike Battlefield 4 is in the Hardline "Damageoutput of" either somewhat higher or the "Input". Means: you die a lot faster than in Battlefield 4. It's already in the direction Counter-Strike. Thus, it will have to work longer than 1 minute to survive. Generally one has rumgeschraubt to the balancing of the weapons - hence the shotgun is much more attractive than they were in Battlefield 4. But I think you still have to refine what because some weapons seems to me too much compared to other. And in the "Community" and roll already tears in the forums.

Since Hardline turns away from the war, you will (still) find no tanks. Armored Transporter yes, even tanks no. There is also no AA guns or similar caliber. You get only what also seems realistic: cars, motorcycles, vans, transport helicopters, small attack helicopters and of course a traveling couch ("Press E to enter the American Dream"). Also, the number of weapons has been somewhat reduced. Unlike Battlefield 4 every weapon you have, however, now two times to unlock (for each party [cops or gangsters] once). Unnecessary and cumbersome. The unlock works by redeeming of cash that you earn in the game (by points - take areas, save allies, opponents eliminated, etc.). As with Battlefield 4 there Battlepacks the XP boosts included. Which unlocking is then a little faster. However, these are now also become more specific. There XP boosts for eliminating opponents or XP boosts from capturing areas. In Battlefield 4 you got the bonus for each action.

The game modes also has done:

Hotwire - as Conquest. Only now the occupied points are gone!
Rescue - everyone knows from Counter-Strike. In a slightly modified version now hostages must be rescued or are worried that they will not be saved!
Heist - the gangsters to steal booty, the cops have to prevent that. Similar to "CTF" (Capture the Flag).
Blood Money - Lots of cash on the card. Which party can bring more gains.
Crosshair - The Gangster must eliminate a VIP the cop.
Conquest - taking several points on the map and hold.
Team Deathmatch - Team Deathmatch

All of these modes can be played on 9 cards. Depending on the mode, the card is smaller or larger. Theoretically
So one would have 54 cards. Sounds like a lot, but it's not really. Even if you can play on each map differently, deceiving not hide the fact that there may be yet more would. But we know that EA does not splash out and in no later than 2 months there is then already the first DLC (probably for 14.99) ....

Battlefield Hardline can I put any shooter fan his heart. But you should not make the mistake and think it were here to Battlefield 4.5. It is neither 4.5 nor 5. Hardline Hardline is and who Battlefield 4 is expected with other maps and weapons probably will find themselves at some point in the EA forums and get upset about the fact that Hardline is not like Battlefield 4.

But not even last a few comments:

1. I can NOT recommend the Premium version - A. There are 120 Ocken! B. you now do not know if the game you play in a year from now! C. Save at the price you are doing hardly anything.

2. There are still minor bugs. But the game is "finished". So a disaster like Battlefield 4 was averted.

3. Supposedly Battlefield are an annual release. They want it so as Ubisoft do: Every year the same nonsense. Say: a shooter FIFA. Therefore, you should then sometimes even worry whether you want to support this form of money making.

Finally, a small call:

If ye decide to become part of the Battlefield Community - switches also swipe if you wrong will and is respectful of your fellow players online. I knew that the Counter-Strike community had gone to the dogs, but what I experienced in Battlefield 4, has already amazed me leave - and not in a good way. And if you want it better, all players need to pull together. I generally recommend you seek the suits you for a platoon. Because with a few people in TeamSpeak makes things a lot more fun (because more coordination, for example).
