The user interface is end 80-old-style and no ergonomist would allow such a thing today by go!
Each technician / engineer (m / f) will have no doubt his joy with the part because the enormous flexibility and openness of the system leaves nothing to be desired. Also Tcl PROGRAMMERS can rejoice, because the interface is open.
This blessing is also a curse at the same time, because the less technology-savvy people come quite quickly reach their limits. The operation and programming of the device is anything but self-explanatory! Without a lengthy and extremely unkonfortable programming is not possible to sensible management of the systems.
Clearly, the CCU is made by technicians for technicians!
A technically not preloaded average citizen is such a thing can never put into operation - unthinkable!
With appropriate technical expertise and diverse programming hours but you get a functional environment.
Technically, there is nothing to complain about. The interfaces are quick and always fed correctly.
One shortcoming was the hitherto somewhat steep price of EUR 150 (as of 12/202013). The was however reduced by around 1/3 by mid-2014.
Conclusion: With an average 2-digit price and a bit more user-friendly MMI I would give it 5 stars. For all engineers, hobbyists and Ing. Or those who want to be there, though strong buy recommendation! Less technology-savvy, I can only advise against the purchase.
