Gemmell's not so classic

We find the classic theme Gemmell, heroes who are ready for an old legendary last stand. But this time we are dive right supernatural, at the first party is going investigation for pure action for the second half of the book.
The characters are endearing to most.
For the rest it's Gemmell of the classic adventure without the fuss but nothing spectacular either.
