Portishead is no introduction. If they remain in the shadows, it is because they are not the type to get carried away by success. Dummy is their first album and remains the most timeless of expensive trip-hop style in Bristol. A sumptuous blend of bass, violins pusher of torn screams and dark melodies. All accompanied by the mysterious voice of Beth Gibbons, capable of making us dream of better or move deep within our soul.
