Removal and replacement (expansion of old radios, removal of the original chassis.
Connecting an (extra needed) adapter cable (from BMW to ISO)
Connecting the accompanying Pioneer connecting cable from above adapter cable for Pioneer equipment,
Plugging a (absolutely necessary) antenna adapter and connection of the antenna cable,
Inserting the microphone plug on the back of Pioneer radios,
Inserting and locking the supplied mounting frame,
Pushing the radio until you hear it clicks,
Attachment of cover and attaching the control panel,
The key in the first position,
and off you go with the setup and the subsequent setting of FM transmitters, and recognizing and connecting to the smartphone Huawei Ascend P7.
All took place in less than 5 (five) minutes.
Simple and ingenious!
The amazing thing:
extremely fast installation and connection, and then set up.
The menu, although in English but very easy and understandable, while logical and intuitive.
The sound blew me away almost!
The obvious and discounts for 23-year-old BMW speakers (two front top of the dashboard, two behind in the parcel shelf, two more down in the footwell) play properly freed and detached, clear and understandable, with audible and palpable bass properly.
After a short setting of the sound menu on Pioneer 4700 a surprisingly rich and full sound was perceiving.
The often-mentioned reception problems with the old 5 Series (E34) I can not confirm: the Pioneer device receives even weak remote transmitter noise free stereo, and even while driving with no dropouts.
The sound from the above phone via Bluetooth is terrific!
An originally covered additional subwoofer is currently not an issue, because the sound is quite enough by the six speakers and the powerful car radio.
