Many Underground productions captivate especially by poor recording quality and flows that have been skillfully placed next to the beat. Not so with Zweiplus from Tübingen. Momo and ChampiJan have made me by their super entertaining Abilied attention and so I simply decided me the new album "Somewhere between yesterday and tomorrow" feared. So order, wait parcels found in the mail box, open, and only times viewed the cover. The boys did everything on their own, from mixing to design the booklet. But the latter, unfortunately, convinced me less because I am rather classic, simple designs, as in Photoshop experiments. Well a matter of taste. So album in the player to find out if the two are forever Yesterday or rather German rape of tomorrow. I advise everyone, not just morning muffles, in this plate directly from the second song "Good day" and not the "Good morning" (Intro) enter, because this is far better than the opener, although the guys before production probably too often Kaas "Love Movement" have pumped. Because it sounds kind of like Kaas "Wonderful World" 2.0 with very good flow. "Dear Sun, Hello Good heavens, Hello invisible man with a deep voice." These nice gentlemen, but they would rather not so warmly welcomed, as it unfortunately occurs on the album in appearance again. I just was never a fan of pitched vocals and Autotune, not even in the times when it has made any. Also the next song "NERNDMA" (take a rapper never off his cap) immediately reminds me of a work of another German rapper. And I would not flow from this song and been soundwise blown away so I had him thematically well as pointless as Samy version found the "CapSong". This is probably my main gripe with this plate. Some come a content simply too familiar, even if Zweiplus always put as the aforementioned "NERNDMA" especially technically a shovel on the "original" plan. And also on the album even encounter a partial topics repeatedly, as in "Get out of me" and "Be Nice" which are both going to a repulsive appearance times. Although from different perspectives, but similar. Often fall substantive similarities especially by my opinion clumsy song arrangement. "Little Death" where it comes to murder fantasies, after a failed relationship, before the last song to pack "to the end", in which the objective is that everything comes to an end, I personally not very clever. The true diversity of "Sometime between yesterday and tomorrow" we discovered probably only thanks to Random mode. The guys have certainly made a lot of thought about the order, but unfortunately was so from the known voltage to a mouse obvious emotion camel: entertaining - thoughtful - entertaining - thoughtful. A roller coaster ride that sounds fast monotone. Two Plus dominate both subjects perfectly. On the one hand they "do not I want ..." Create in songs like "Little Death" or "They Do not" clever a dreamlike melancholy mood. "What is worth a conscience, not a certain value". On the other hand, "let the free verse as flip flops" and show that their strengths lie in just punchlines and irony. That's why I take them also her statement "I do not believe in team spirit" at any moment from the plate. Momo and ChampiJan complement each other perfectly at all times and always Flowen skillfully on the same high level of all possible rhythms. Whether Double Time, relaxed serene voice tunes or spontaneous flow changes, they have mastered it perfectly. However, the absolute highlights of this album are the beats. Between fantastic guitar solo of "In your face" and beautiful jazz number "Be nice" everything is on offer and sounds always innovative and new. The support of many live instruments and vocals support does so out of pure rap beautiful music. The absolute highlight of the album is for me "So not HipHop" is to merge with the rocking beat, good Raptechnik and a nice story about a potential hit whole. Why is not the whole album at this level? Well the bottom line. Two Plus will not quite do justice to this work their crew name. Personally, I would give them a two. "Somewhere between yesterday and tomorrow" is a good rap album, from which you can hear the love of music out there and that impresses with a few perfect songs. Unfortunately, there are also a few stopgap who made me quickly skipping on. But I think that "comes soon enough" and hope that the musical career of the two is not "finished" is because Two Plus is definitely one to Deutschrap tomorrow.
