The appearance should judge for themselves every consumer. The F30901 is a typical plastic bombers, without any special features. Moreover, in white, which is likely to be subject to, sooner or later a strong used-style with regard to a longer service life. In the beginning, however, the machine looks quite nice (and cute is the little brother of - you know ...) which, after all, the matt finish is highly resistant to dust and fingerprints.
The capacity of the machine is sufficient for ten large / fifteen small cups, ie the typical office coffee break is adequately supplied. The large tank with viewing window, the freely removable filter and the pivoting insert provided with a lock are very helpful in practice, the good overall impression is rounded off by the acceptable glass jug and a solid can cover. During operation, the Krups shows pleasing handsam and quiet, even the integrated drip shield works perfectly and even in spontaneous removal of the jug during the brewing process, thus preventing very effectively larger smut.
Negative side effects of course there are. The power connector cable, failed with a cable length of about 80cm, as usual clearly too short. And even if cold coffee known to promote flawless beauty, I could do without the automatic forced shutdown after a good half hour. Especially the little gear or lateral LED display the "I-run-and-heating-still" warning should be enough actually.
Conclusion: A simple, reliable basic unit, without any gimmicks and gadgets. The price / performance ratio is reasonable, but free from ups and downs. Ultimately, it's like when choosing the coffee bean itself - personal taste decides.
