I initially had concerns! But repair has (so far approximately 1 month) held up well. We had two small holes in our 15-year-old water mattress. As the got in there, is a mystery to us, because they were both sides. We have had a long period of water loss, without even realizing it directly, because the pan has everything collected. Since the holes were sideways, we drained the water to stick. The mattress I then (supercharged) inflated to check if perhaps more holes can be found. After 15 years, the material could anyway have become somewhat brittle. But found nothing and glued directly to instruction (the same principle as a bicycle inner tube, but without roughen the bonding surface, only with mineral spirits to clean)! After a few hours we have the mattress filled again. Let's see how long it goes well!
