Three-quarters of the water running in thick drops directly down on the unit. The rest is not about a spray but a concentrated beam, I do not like to hold the glasses to me.

If you look where the big drops come out, it is the seam where the two halves of the atomizer cap abut. It's a wonder that it does not fall apart of its own accord.
