Perhaps my first reason to buy:
I have the Teufel Concept B 20 PC speakers brought a necessary replacement system, as my larger plant (Z-5500) has apparently given up the ghost after nearly 9 years. Although I have run (for power consumption) lately much less because I X-230 was just happy with the Logitech, I quickly realized that I did not have a second system at my equipment. I needed a simple replacement system for occasional television to the receiver at normal volume, but it ought to be something Decent. That's why I chose this product, which by far had the best reviews, but pricewise quite proud was compared to predominant competition.
My personal impression at first sight and pre-listening:
The stereo speakers are quite large, equipped with caps for playback of high and middle frequencies. You make a good impression in the process and make every effort to produce a good sound ... but when the effort remains's and you can hear it ... The high and middle tones sound good. The bass is rather weak. That would be no problem, but the overall package of the sound seems a bit hazy and I was not really a stereo feeling. If you turn the tone knob almost fully left (which was already preset with me), we obtain the best sound results. Otherwise, the sound heard "dull" to. At just under 100 euros, I've been hoping for a more solid 2.0 system ... Even when you first turn the music was far from convincing and rose for me not really much from comparable cheaper models from. When playback media mix CDs and FLAC files served me.
My conclusion:
Better than the cheap speakers for less than 30 euros, the Teufel Concept B 20 is always. However, in direct comparison with the X-230 Logitech speakers this could not keep up rudimentary and have around 60 Euro cost me almost 40% less. We tested everything on the same system! I have the sound repeatedly compared and tested both onboard and with the good old Audigy 2ZS soundcard. Sure, I see a 2.0 system with a 2.1 system, there are already worlds apart, but my concern is mainly about the value for money! The boxes are overvalued and are contrary to other opinions does not necessarily worth their price. For the money you get mega-significantly longer, if one takes a good 2.1 system into consideration!
