Good and 3 licenses, so 4 stars, but ...

... Which student / student etc. really need for 150, - Euro an Office program from MS. Well, it's not bad, the market leader, there will be excellent documentation, Outlook is excellent, etc. Only the wealth of functions really need hardly a student. I eg. My thesis written with OpenOffice, presentations also. How do I find, just as comfortable, some better than Word (PDF export) and equipped in the new version with good filters for MS products. Nothing against the SSL version of MS - I think it is good and right, the price is excellent (especially since 3 Lizenezen for 3 computers are) and it is a good product, but everyone should be aware, why he needs it , Therefore: Before think hard and then buy. Alternatives: Word - OpenOffice, Excel - OpenOffice, PowerPoint - Open Office, Outlook - Mozilla / Thunderbird / Calendar. All free and partially better but also worse (Outlook, due to its spreading a virus spin while on the other side, of course, very comfortable and PIM compatible).
So everybody has to decide for themselves, but I give it 5 stars because I think it's good of MS that they awarded 3 licenses in the price and is thus at last can also legally equip his laptop with MS Office.
