Good approach, perhaps a little clunky, but otherwise ...

My requirements were very strong on the functions of a clock radio aligned the 2 different alarm should dominate with different Weckmethoden. Internet radio via Wi-Fi should be possible, as well as access to the music files on the media server (Fritz box 7390).

These requirements are clearly exceeded by this device!

The wireless commissioning was done in 5 minutes since the unit WPS Quick Connection dominated.

After registration of the device to [...] the favorites setting up the Internet radio station was finished in no time.

There are two alarms that can be set, for which one can use either Internet Radio, FM Radio, My Music or the buzzer as an alarm clock. You can even set the volume of the radio while raising! I mention this because I like to sleep in a soft radio music, but need to wake up significantly more volume level! For other devices, setting the alarm volume is equal to the volume that you set for radio play.

Each alarm can be either daily, weekday or be activated at the weekend.

There is also the possibility of the snooze time (Snooze) in 5 minute increments to increase, I need the morning min. 3 Snooze phases à 10 min. until I get up :-)
(This function is concealed in the operating instructions!)

With the same button "snooze" can I when the radio is off, turn on the radio and select whether the radio 15, 30, 45 or 60 min. intended to run off again.

So:
Slumber to sleep 15-60 min. (15 min steps)
Snooze reveille 5 - ??? minute (5 min steps)

The sound quality is depending on the broadcaster good - very good, the Equalizer allows the selection of pre-defined profiles to (Rock, Pop, etc.) but there is also the possibility to set the bass and treble itself and to save.

Additionally, there is the opportunity to define their own location and then retrieve the weather on location. I think this is more of a gimmick, because I can achieve in that time I go to the window and look out.

I have long wondered the device to buy, because the display is relatively small, but it's perfectly adequate.

3 things bother me on the device:

1. The unit of action by its square shape but relatively bulky and takes up space on the nightstand
2. If the device is off, the display is well shaded but still a bit too bright (which is probably a matter of opinion), it is the time and the set alarm time appears, nothing else. One has however the snooze is activated, the unit is brightly lit with two blue light rings around the knob and a blue light bar at the bottom edge of the device! Who's going to fall asleep with so much light?
3. The remote control is absolute junk, totally confusing to small buttons and reacts totally bad. As the radio is right next to my bed that's no problem for me, but for use eg as a kitchen radio that is a disadvantage.

Because of these 3 points I have deducted a star because I still see potential here.

At least for point 2, I still hope to a firmware update from Medion because the already somewhat spoils the enjoyment. (Dimbares display and less festive lights in sleep mode)
