As always fast delivered. Unpacked and connected. Desired mode is a wireless bridge. This means that I am connected by the router via a LAN cable and then builds up a wireless network. Unlike the Repeater mode you lose so no bandwidth. Since the router is set as wireless repeater, you must then but a computer with LAN cable connected to the box. Anyone who has a current MacBook, has ran here with another computer. Once the mode is changed, the connection works via WiFi very good. The connection is pretty fast. Compared to my Unifi Access Point, the operation range or bandwidth in the 2.4 GHz is a little slower but still very good. A 7 GB file is copied to 12 rather than 10 minutes from the server. In the 5 GHz band, the matter is then properly afloat. The file is copied in 2 minutes (Repeater and laptop in the same room). However, the coverage of the 5GHz band is relatively poor. The device does not even make 1 floor with a large open staircase and opened doors. In comparison, my Linksys router from the neighbor's apartment still comes here with half signal. The bandwidth is then very badly (7 GB are copied in 60 minutes).
Conclusion: Very good for a short distance. If you want to cover a larger apartment or a house, definitely requires more devices that are connected via LAN to a router.
