After 6 (millionfold sold) plates now also pushes Ja Rule in time for Christmas after a BestOf album. It contains in addition to classics and 3 new songs, "Exodus" will probably be the last release under DEF JAM. Because after riots, processes to Irv Gotti label boss and only average sales figures from the last albums is probably a change. Let's see how it goes with "The Inc." ... Here we go with a bang. The tracks "Exodus" and "Me" go catchy, convince both Beat and in flow. Ja Rule wins again, perfect to put his exceptional voice in scene. The third new track, however, "Exodus / Outro" resembles too much the first track and can not really convince. Otherwise, the choice of songs is quite well chosen. There are songs from all published albums available. "Clap Back" is targeted with a really a penetrating (meant positively) beat to the clubs as well as on the Aftermath-artists 50 Cent, Dre and Eminem. The ingenious "New York" has the character of a street anthem, by the features of Fat Joe and Jadakiss is the track of the best on the album, but the Beat provides goosebumps. Of course, the RnB corner should not be missed ("Liven it up", "Mesmerize", "Always On Time"), this Ja Rule gets support from label mate Ashanti and Ron Isley. But why the pop schmaltz play "Wonderful" (feat. R. Kelly & Ashanti) has found its way onto the plate, on the other hand I do not understand. The track is indeed chilling and audible but to Yes's best songs he definitely does not belong. I do miss, however, "The Reign" (great song with a great sample). "Never again" and the remix of JLo's "Is not It Funny" as convincing as "Put It On Me", weak, however, "It's Murda", which takes a dip because of the monotony, despite strong support from Jay-Z and DMX. Conclusion: "Exodus" erweisst as good BestOf rapper Ja Rule, the 18 tracks are all good to hear, and there are even 3 brand new tracks. For the people who have all the albums of New Yorkers, the purchase is not worthwhile. But for newcomers thoroughly recommended - even if the ingenious "The Reign" sadly lacking. Best tracks: 1) New York (feat. Fat Joe and Cassidy) 2) Clap Back 3) Exodus / Intro 4) Never again 5) Is not It Funny 6) Put It On Me 7) Love me, hate me
