One of the best albums ever, great ballads, surround sound largely good.

The End of the Innocence [DVD-AUDIO] (DVD-Audio)

Customer Review

Don Henley (singer of the Eagles) in 1989 hammer out a really great solo album.
The ballads are absolutely written and sung by heart, the musical realization also great (Style Roch / Pop / Soul).
Best title: The Last Worthless Evening, The Heart Of The Matter, The End of the Innocence, New York Minute (successful single). 4.5 stars (because some songs are not at the same level)

The DVD-Audio: If no DVD-Audio but a DTS-DVD, which has the advantage that they can be abspeilen with any DVD player. Drawback is that the format is not quite the quality of DVD-A has, but the question is who is listening at all.
The surround sound is focused on atmosphere (not effects) disruptive mix, which is generally well managed, in a few songs it creates the mixer but nevertheless high hats and so on channels. Why only 3.5 stars.

Comparisons: Who likes this album, you should listen once the debut album of Bad English, it has a similar emotion and is also outstanding.
