The player replaces with us one in the tooths DVD players and is used primarily for music, DVD, and media playback via Internet. Only Blue Ray tested to date is "Nightmare before Christmas". This ran quickly and was played without any problems (volume). Likewise, all other media have been recognized and played. DVD are quickly scanned and reproduced. The USB port recognizes my card reader and USB flash drives (FAT32). For accessing the contents of a NAS (Synology) are easily and quickly (Gbit LAN).
Two criticisms remain: - There could be more Webapps and these could start faster. One has already partially 10/20 secs until the Apps have built and connected to the power / sync. - The presentation of media content (NAS / USB Sticks) is bad. In every possible form of representation, the terms are reduced to a few letters. Here less graphic and more text would be appropriate.
