Like any system of this type requires that the concept of parts allows a free rein to the imagination. This is the case here. My 4 year old daughter quickly realized and regularly submits to us a little more elaborate works every time. The principle is to have a cube having one side male and 5 female faces, which allows to make 3D structure (unlike Lego which allows only 2D). Plastic is flexible enough. There is not a wide variety of parts but as the different boxes can be combined, it helps to find supplements
