Offered to a child of 9 years, the longest was for her to sort the numbered pieces. After sorting the pieces performed, according to the dexterity of the child, making the whole takes about 1 hour. It is therefore a bit too easy. Also, I do not think the child will redo unlike a conventional puzzle + 1000 pieces and the child can do, undo and redo. The plastic top and does not take the risk that it is lost. It serves as decor but is rather cumbersome, however.
