The first half of the novel plays on a rather surprising gap between the rather humorous lightness of the new duo which forms and the blackness of the tragic situation Merette, captive politician. Then the advancing novel, the duo, approaching slowly from the truth, this shift will give way to a true classic in its unfolding investigation ...
From a point of view purely police officer, if the chapters devoted to the captive are effective, this novel is not a particularly complex plot or suspense panting .. we can also question the credibility of some passages, Hafez Assad often acting as if he was himself a policeman.
By cons, Jussi Adler-Olsen us discover two devilishly cool characters with this jaded cop and this wizard we guess a past loaded ... and I'm curious to find these two stooges in new adventures.
