We had a white Billigprodukt where you can see the quality difference very clearly. The cheap product is not broke, but it has very quickly assumed an orange color cut paprika. It was rough, which cuts were not as clearly visible, however, this rough surface was cleaned very bad and it solved over time small plastic particles in painstaking clean. In comparison, Silit again delivers a top product that visually for a cutting board is completely ok. As important, I consider the following points: the stability, the preservation of my good knife, so that they continue to stay sharp, good and easy cleaning with a cloth or the suitability dishwasher, hygiene and odor neutrality. Conclusion: I would buy the product as a commodity again. I have several pots from Silit, which are already 20 years old and a large pan. With these products, I am very satisfied.
