My previous experience with the Samsung CLP-315W is very positive.
- Connection is via USB 2.0, LAN cable and Wi-Fi (b / g) possible. The setting was very simple. (Win XP and Linpus Linux-WLAN) and a Desktop (Lan via the router: Win XP) When my printer from 2 laptops is driven. Especially with the Linux drivers I had in mind something. I need this for my netbook (Acer Aspire One A110L). The Linpus Linux is sometimes difficult during installation. But here it went smoothly. The driver I had, however, found either on the CD still in the network. Send an email to the Samsung support on Saturday night but was answered within 2 hours using the appropriate link. That's a super power support.
- The Samsung CLP-315W carries the Blue Angel for its energy consumption. Very positive note the switch on the rear panel. So it is easily possible to separate it without switchable power strip of mesh.
- With print quality, I am satisfied. Photorealistic print one is from a laser printer in this price range not sure to expect. Since the inkjets are simply superior. But the text printing is very good and the color can be seen. For graphs, charts, etc. in any case thick enough.
- The printer driver asks through the network directly from the browser the essential settings and data from. The pages already printed and toner levels. All very simple.
Anyone who is looking for a printer that he can control (handy with laptops) over the network or Wi-Fi and the color elements and sites are also able to spend is at this price and the comparatively small footprint with the Samsung CLP-315W good operated. Therefore, from my 5 of 5 Stars.
