Extra bowl: very practical, this one comes with a bouchonvissé; This allows you to prepare and book your preparations without loss of time. The capacity of the bowl allows the installation of your creams in one pass (750 ml).
type of preparation: a pallet incroyabe job! I drew heavy pasta (brioche dough, bread), medium-heavy (joconde, macaroons, white base + ground almonds, cookie dough, egg yolk base + sugar), enough so viscous as well as desserts such preparations (whipped ganache); also made dumplings (choux pastry so), and coupled with a training on silicone mold, the precision work of the piston is formidable. For preparations from fruit, it works, with a hand with less pronounced slope. For the moment, no preparation has escaped the Tube Buyer (not tried the cocktail preparations like quiche - so hot preparations).
On the device itself, I like to use
the perfect finish of the elements: the bowl of a good countenance, the piston, which is self-blocked by operating the lever at the base of the tube, the knob that adjusts the piston stroke, the brawny plastic sleeves.
mounting ééments the extremely simple cleaning: few elements, simple assembly, no small critical part that would prevent the use of the device.
a well-sealed piston, a sleeve autobloquée during work: fundamental fact; preparations for leaks from above, and the grand opening of the bowl (no meaning during assembly, super convenient) allows the introduction of the preparation with a wide spatula.
Among the areas for improvement, I note:
not enough bushings included in the basic package, and too big (at first glance, they should be 10/12 mm); purchase of additional sockets pack essential in my opinion.
no storage box in the unit or accessories.
no plug for the bowl in the basic package: this makes it essential to filling the preparation with the mounted piston; suddenly, not practical at all (the piston rod is deployed down, and fill with a spatula ds this configuration is not terrible!). Suddenly, the extra bowl (with said cap so) is perfect - but to buy from ...
In short: a must in the kitchen to me; at least as effective as a piping bag, it is the necessary complement, if you regularly assemble your preparations for pies, cakes, sweets, buns.
