Good device with partial weak software but good detailed solutions

I was looking for a new Navi for my bike, because the tank bag solution no longer worked with a Standardnavi on the new moped. Because I go for years with Navi's both Auto (fixed installations) as well as bike, I had clear ideas. Although I presented the best solution to the fore, price was rather secondary.
Portrait was important because of the mounting position next to the taps behind the windshield. There should also be a GPX system because I like to plan the routes on vacation, but often no Internet have available. Home, however, should be planned directly from Google. I use different software for planning, since the predetermined routes often do not meet my expectations.
Deduction I have given to the following points:
1. no TMC. This is already weak, any 60 Navi. Although not always work, but still: nice to have
2. The new Navi's usual banana software: matures at the customer. I had already at 10 times more expensive fixed installations in the car, yet annoying: Bluetooth connectivity with all software versions of great need of improvement. I had version 3.2 on it, upgrade to 3.6 with a common map update: unfortunately not possible separately, but downgrade without any problems. Update lasted for a few hours, some GB's, USB memory, has also little to do with the Internet connection.
Version 3.2: quickly married with headset, automatic reconnection does not work out. Must be manually separated and connected (real pairing remains here) are. Time low, although annoying. Software Weather lack much in the car tested in parallel next to the fixed installation (Audi, Bj.2014). Boot as fast as fixed installation (but still connects with mobile phone and thereby invites contacts), but also expects just as quickly to. Route calculation similar.
Version 3.6 nicer surface, better night view (but I need very rarely), better representation (Abbiegefpeile)
But Bluetooth is a disaster: Pairing is when virginal, quickly. Not Reconnecting. Sometimes helps separate and reconnect but mostly headset needs to be deleted, go down Navi, reboot, re-pairing. Big Zeitauwand. Should however be better, according to first service.
Whatever the support was very nice, fast and has adequately responds to emails. And there should also be a new update.

Now for the three stars that I have forgiven here:
Hardware good, also the tool for attaching the motorcycle excellent. Useful on the back screw to fix. However, I have here is a small rubber grommet pushed from behind on the screw, it can be easily screwed.
Screen easy to read, poorly only in direct sunlight.

Route planning at Navi ok, tour due to the input (as it used to old phone's) bad.
But you can calculate an alternative route after entering the destination and route calculation. Both are displayed graphically and so choose the more beautiful (or practical).

Planned routes from your PC or Internet simply push on the memory card and you can already call the tour.
Very simple. Tried it with 61 waypoints because of the reviews, is also.

Not approached waypoints are ignored, went straight on to the next.

Presentation is very good for my taste: next Abbiegeaktion is always displayed, even if there are still some km.
Tap once on the screen, already I see the rest of kilometers, and the time of arrival. Is it possible to hide just as quickly as it usually does not interest me, but quickly visible when needed.
About menu also during the tour displaying the total tour and derzeiten location possible.
Zoom is intended for motorcyclists, very large size, you can see exactly the road ahead. It was not until about 100km / h is clearer zoomed out. Crossing and track presentation also good.

And if you now but brought Bluetooth up and running: announcements come soon enough (three pieces), last but really only when turning. Voice is slightly distorted, but get used to it. In the beginning I had understood at the roundabout take "first" Exit always "fourth"

Tension on the device I have not found mount sits very tight.

All in all a good Navi (especially because the other more expensive Navi's are far from 100%), it would recommend. Despite the weaknesses. And hope that is still under construction here it.
And because I have so far less swearing at this Navi, as my old ......

Addendum: by now some tours with the Navi I have to correct significantly down my opinion:
Transfer routes from the PC to Navi's works fast and simple. Unfortunately, the Navi these routes after the update (start and destination address plus 2 to 5 intermediate points) is completely overwhelmed. Now, if you leave the chosen route in conjunction with Bluetooth, the recalculation takes in some cases significantly more than a minute. This is perfectly inakzebtabel for navigating in an unfamiliar city. If Bluetooth then connects. Not because of the SBH20 but the Navi refuses. Partial simply freezes the screen and you must restart the device. With the option "Route to the goal then" there would be no problem. Unfortunately, the device needs to boot and start the route for several minutes. Without use of Bluetooth, the device operates much faster. And if the concern is only to drive an address, the recalculation is also reasonably akzebtabel. The graphical representation is ok.
In addition, I have at temperatures below 10 degrees tension on Vision screen then can no longer operate or pressing the buttons themselves.
Conclusion: to be the detailed solutions are very good, only the implementation is completely flawed. Will probably move to Garmin, shame really. But what Blaupunkt offers here is a crappy Banana Software ...... Good ideas poorly implemented
