Good ergonomics, but not expensive oversights ...

I bought this remote One For All Simple 4 (URC6440) to replace a Logitech Harmony 300i bought two years ago, 15 more expensive that the volume control does not work anymore.
- It has a button "activity" (SetUp) that normally can control two devices (for example, your decoder / receiver / TV receiver and your television) but shortcut only works once you turned on with remote control, the two devices one after another. It does not turn on the TV at the same time (even less with the correct HDMI channel) and your receiver / tuner / receiver TV. It is only after the devices were set off one by one, this function if you enable it effectively to control the sound of your TV (and only the sound) while keeping control your receiver / tuner / receiver TV (channels and other functions). The POWER button then turns off the 2 devices at the same time but still not turn on! Too bad the blow that this "activity" function that combines two devices, though convenient, is truncated here!
- The remote control is against very ergonomic, very easy to find buttons, are obvious and handy ... and the backlight is just PERFECT: if you enter the remote control (without even pressing a button ), all the buttons light of a beautiful orange disappears after a few seconds even if you keep the remote control in hand (so no unnecessary waste of lighting).
- No way to be recognized by my Western Digital WDTV against Live media player which, with the help of the code yet found online, assigns it automatically to PVR button already assigned to my satellite receiver Orange!
- I find also the laborious and poorly documented configuration if you want to go into details ...
- The quality of workmanship is very good and the camera seems very solid, the keys are well anchored in the housing and support is firm.

Good remote control to ergonomics and backlight (perfect!) And basic use but matter "activities" (combination of several devices for an activity) the minimum is not even there!

After 1 year of use, I add 2 stars because the ergonomics (very intuitive keys, exemplary build quality and backlight) combined with a very low price, eventually supersede largely its shortcomings and do not regret me my first universal remote control!
