The above attributes are no restrictions for this product. For an experienced Ultimate Collector-Bauer assembly Thanks to the usual good manual is not a problem (important detail of the instructions: Each building step there is a small window in which the required parts including the number and possibly scale comparison are listed). Also good and otherwise lived with Lego: No part was missing, some small parts were even duplicated. As always with the Collector's Edition, the parts are packed in individual plastic bags. However, corresponding to the distribution of bags in any way the building sequence, so you pretty much open later than the fifth building step all bags. As always, it is recommended the previous order of the parts, so you do not rummages fingers to the bone. Countless cups and egg cups here is predestined ;-)
The parts selection is mostly standard (both in terms of colors like shapes), but there are of course again a few Super special parts that you have never seen before. In total you get when you look at it from this side, a nice stock of new parts to obstruct. But what collectors already takes apart the TIE fighters in order to build something different from that? ;-)
The finished model is as expected very good, but is somewhat unspectacular in my opinion compared to bombast-models like the Star Destroyer or the Corellian Corvette. To play it definitely is not suitable, because too fragile (and difficult). You can actually leave it only on its stand (which is not too different thought). But even here there are problems: The construction of the subfloor is not well thought out; the subsoil consists of only a few not very stable interlinked parts, so that when placed on the stand, if you do not seeehr sensitively going on, almost always resolves the seat in the cockpit and fly around freely in the cockpit. And about the seat firmly closed properly again, you have to take the half cockpit apart ... therefore gets this model of me in terms of durability only three stars. Otherwise, yes, everyone knows that Lego-toy has a virtually unlimited shelf life ... :-)
From the optics, the hunter is as I said rather good average. It contains some nice decorations that make it look beautiful on its stand, but nothing more. The only "extra" in the sense of a moving part is an interesting designed functioning hatch on the roof. Unfortunately, you can not very well look into the cockpit through this hatch, but this actually is also better, because the cockpit interior is designed rather ugly. Some same "Monitor blocks" on the sides as well as side-mounted "joystick" that look more like antennae, are neither particularly pretty nor realistic. I'm from the TIE Interceptor (also Ultimate Collector's Series) clearly accustomed better. In that model, the cockpit interior is exactly what we see in Episode IV of the interior shots of Darth Vader's fighter. So it is doubly incomprehensible that just can not be seen in this model those details. Overall, the "inside" of the hunter was a disappointment for me.
In summary, one can say that Darth Vader's TIE Advanced from the Ultimate Collector's Series is another good model for collectors and Star Wars lovers. For children it is definitely not intended as it is not suitable as a toy. On its stand it looks good, but you should not let him to take down as many times (and if, then very gently). However, it is definitely not a must-have, nor a milestone in the Ultimate Collector's Series, but also far less expensive.
