Good everyday head

When it was time below 0 degrees I had to adjust the friction softer, but it was almost better worked as with other fluid-heads in the price range to the carrying-weight ... (Lieber no oil as an inexpensive in a fluid head - at 20 degrees no problem, it is cold or very warm one notices it immediately).

I have, however, the video rig with the camera, Beartec sound amplifier and possibly lamp with battery it will just a little too hard for a clean Tilt. Panning is not a problem. But that has managed so far anyway, only a head> 1000 euros ... So here comes the head on 90%.

Since the head on a 055CXPRO4 is its small size and the weight is almost made for the tripod. By retracting the rods, the head very small - but almost too small, if you use the 90-degree center column of the tripod, here creates the head "only" 90 degrees to get back n the scale occur, a 100% offset not possible. Those who intend such a thing should look at the 90 degree adapter from Manfrotto.

For everyday makes my head very robust, with this head can - after some practice - in Photo achieve good results as in the video area, which go in "specialized" heads in their area, although "better" (more easily) would, but everything else would not walk. So I would rather live with this little compromise with the knowledge that I can do anything, have possibly just a little longer preparation.
