Now that I already have the rod in use for some time, I would like to briefly respond to the single, in my view critical point of this product - the shutters.
The closures dissolve in fact after a short time and in addition to the disturbing sound you could actually get scared, the closures and therefore the disks rotate at some point down.
But I have read a simple, but ingenious tip in the recession.
Just a 30-sealing ring slid out of the plumbing between each first disc and the disc stopper, closure tightened and nothing wobbles or rattles more.
Gets the dumbbell still full marks from me.
Yes, because of the quality (apart from the lack of sealing ring) and especially at this price I can not fault. The thickness of the bar is the right place for my relatively strong hands, the overall width is ideal.
And maybe the supplier puts indeed the future one or two sentences at sealing rings. :-)
