So to review:
per:
- The best thing about this field is a continuous glass plate (!). Other double induction fields often have a small gap between the plates and a pseudo-metal edge which, however, only looks and actually is made of plastic. The result was at my last field that the plastic quickly burns when a pot time is not quite centered, holes are formed and when times overflows something the interior is flooded quickly. Why all these fields have ever get a TÜV seal is a mystery to me, after all this is not funny anymore when you want to wipe the pasta water quickly and then you get an electric shock. Incidentally, the predecessor of the plate had the same problem, but we have learned! Very good.
- Cleaning is therefore also be lighter
- Timer is very handy for example on the 7 minute egg

- The volume. I know of no double induction field, which would be much quieter, but why you have to block such loud fans is beyond me. One might better invest in a thermal insulation under the glass plate so that the heat does not come from the pot into the interior and so let the fans run at half speed.
- Induction noise: The pots swing somehow louder compared to the previous model, but that is also due to the pots, but not only! But also more or less induction fields. High quality fitted Fields> 700 euros can do better, but that's a different league.
Rommelsbacher has and if they still get in the double induction fields nose for me just in front (as of 08/2012) the volume of the fans something to grips with the absolute Riesenkonkurenten to the installation fields would ...

Update 08-2013:
With a loud bang it today when roasting on the 1400W-box on the mind. Henceforth now thrown out the fuse.
Especially when roasting, the field seems even strong heat and possibly the heat insulation to the circuit boards inside or insufficient ventilation. Where it just to let at induction due to the technology thoroughly heat conduction would be possible to reduce to a minimum and then turn the fan quieter.
Well, I'm waiting for repair, it's just a box in the lower price sector, since the manufacturers often do not much thought.
