Granted the RS185 is already a very good piece of technology, like its predecessor the RS180. I use this almost every day, because this house is quite noisy and I mean neighbors not so nerve :-) Since the RS180 not radioed up in my bathroom and I would like to brush without music dropout, I look every now and then by successor models. And behold, there was once again a new model, the RS185. The manufacturer's range data are indeed identical to the old model (in 100m free field), but now I read here, among other things, that the new model has more coverage. So ordered the RS185 and tested. The receiver unit has been well reviewed, the mean microwave interfere during operation the RS185 no longer (the RS180 already), but the range has not been improved. After 8m in a straight line through 2-3 walls end with me. That reminds me enough the audio characteristics of the RS180 and I wanted to buy only more coverage, the headphones went back to Amazon.

and what Negatives: -Range In building -Price -Balance-Control on the headphones (always be used only accidentally ...) -no pass finishing jack cable supplied, where else would you connect headphones when not on a jack-circuit? -control (Intended as the RS180 matter of habit, but the old model with scroll wheel (ball) for the volume were much better)
Conclusion: If my RS180 breaks I will buy more my RS180. It is to the RS185 is cheaper ...
