After AF Fine Tuning in the camera (Nikon D7000) explicitly for this lens, it is consistently sharp. All applicants should search your menus.
Super zoom:
As with other Super zooms the many glass at the front end for Lens Creep makes. Since you have to stop lock while wearing and photos that are not in a horizontal position, hold the tube. This price you pay for the large zoom range.
The images are consumed As expected on the screen: why either no straight lines placed at the image edge, image correction on PC or sometimes use a fixed focal length.
Of course, the lens is not as good as a kit lens. But it does not go up to 55mm but 270mm. But they are by design infinity exists only.
Vignetting at open aperture is within the expected range.
Suitability:
Ideal for walks in the city - you just need a lens. In darkness and other special cases which take another. That's why it's a system camera with interchangeable lens.
