The switch can be easily put into operation. All connected network devices are detected easily and immediately. The speed with each other is sufficient. Absence hitherto existing devices I can currently not yet have statements apply as to what extent Gigabit LAN is achieved. Considering the quite low price difference to 100Mbps devices I had bought the same, however when considering buying a 1000 Mbps-capable switch.
The housing consists of plastic. The build quality is solid and certainly sufficient for the intended use. Besides being able to use this Swicht as desktop device, the wall mounting is possible (by means of two screws to the switch can be then plugged). Both for wall mounting, as well as for use on the desktop is advantageous in my mind that the connections are on the rear panel. For me, the switch is mounted on the wall behind the desk. The LED display is clearly visible from above; the network cables are inserted from below and are thus out of the way. For use in conjunction with a patch panel, this arrangement could, however, be rather unfavorable.
The switch developed little heat during operation. In that regard, it can be assumed that here leash unnecessary energy is wasted. The power is supplied via a rather small power supply that also blocks in a multiple socket any further connections.
In summary one can notice the fact that this switch offers excellent price / performance ratio. In my view, therefore, a strong buy recommendation.
