Regarding the photo frame, it fulfilled its function. pity no internal memory. So it will automatically go through a USB key or memory card (formatted in FAT32 if it does not recognize the support)
The resolution of the screen seems very right to me. 800 * 600 for an 8-inch, looking at the pictures scroll 1 meter is impeccable.
As against negative when powering the device, this one always restarts at the first picture and scrolls Always On in the same order. no possible function to scroll through pictures randomly. (which is often the case in most photo frames)
when scrolling hundreds of pictures is not great ...
The French menu is clear.
The remote is a plus, however, it must be quite ready for it to work properly.
Then comes the "weather station" function that disappointed me most. T ° interior sensor does not indicate the right of the room t °. When the unit starts, it indicates about 1 ° colder. Once the camera is turned on for several minutes, a mistake by 1.5 to 2 ° warmer appear. There clearly was a concern between the sensor and the fact that the unit heats to operating mode. (Should have been in my opinion a separate sensor on the photo frame).
The outdoor sensor is itself "somewhat prepared" just (less than 0.5 ° error)
I could do different test with 3 other indoor and outdoor thermometers.
I did not test the humidity in the air.
To summarize:
Photo frame of a "standard" size (8 inches) that its job properly. For me only the t ° external sensor is a little more.
I think difficult to beat for the price (70 euros)
