In order to devote myself to F 1 2011:
I am pleasantly surprised. The game offers an acceptable graphics (but might also like to be better, particularly as viewers and detail terms!), Good sound, credible handling and tight competition. The AI is broadly good, but provided with a few oddities. (Eg. The counterparties are sometimes badly early on the brakes, in other places for the difficulty sauschnell).
That the AI tends to unfair Mannövern how I (, incidentally 90% GameStar) was allowed to read in a test, I can not confirm.
It is nice that make setup changes well noticeable and the cars feel differently.
Also, that the whole race weekend is simulated, the new rules (DRS, Kers, changing tires etc) have been implemented and that there is a safety car there I find very good, find the career mode with feedback on the achievements, performance testing, team-internal duels and contract offers I well done.
In my opinion, it would, however, like to the game can trim more on simulation. Conversely, it provides for immersion Eiger many useful driving aids. However, (I explicitly not the level of difficulty, which can be adjusted my good) is the "professional" in the face about lower Setup options but some "underutilized".
That you can not even approximately adjust the tire pressure (often the crux of the matter in Formula 1) and also by the way has only a couple of scroll bars, but very little. But as I said: The settings can also be felt quickly.
The most realistic racing game will probably still GTR 2 - after already 5 years old.
Since then there have been in my opinion but nothing better on the market and after I am of "Forza Motorsport" and co. now have enough to disappoint (I've tried across systems) can, I in 2011 finally a good, realistic racing game on which I do not skate up with Fomrel 1 over hill and dale.
Four and a half stars from me, given the parlous state of competition, especially in the field of F1 simulation, I time round generously :)
