Had a torn ligament at the ankle and have the bandage during the first weeks after the plaster has been removed, used to protect against new and twisting as slight relief of the tapes. Without any bandage I noticed after only a short exposure (a few minutes walk), as my feet hurt, but no way was then to relieve him. For me as a woman with shoe size 39 fit perfectly, but for larger people they could then sit so tight that they cut unpleasant. For me and my purposes, however, they were perfect.
