I bought this after reading cesque the Diapason magazine. I have not been disappointed with my purchase. Combined with a good CD player (Marantz CD6003), the sound is correct. I listened with an Ipod touch G4's going too. The sound is loud and clear. But combined with a good amp DAC (Fostex HP A8) it becomes magical. Great sound: Fast and firm bass silky and expressive medium. Acute étincellants are without agrassivité. A sound that has nothing to do with the iPod or the direct output of the CD. It's really beautiful! I listened to the same DAC with a different brand of helmet 20 times more expensive, but it makes worse. Looks like the amp can not driver as well as what KOSS. The koss is easier to driver and operate. I recommend it, at least you do not lose anything because of the price.
