Good headset with interesting features ......

New console (Playstation 4), a new headset - I thought to myself as I Turtle Beach PX 51 ordered me. As successor to my TB PX 5 (Only the XBox360 used), I was very excited about the new features of the PX51.

The sound I was first a bit flat because I was used to more power from PX5 lot. The voice chat is loud and clear and can be adjusted individually - communication via PSN is really very good. Unfortunately, despite PS4 1.60 must update be used as connection between the headset and the controller is still the supplied mobile device cable. It bothers me but little, since I used such cables already in the XBox360.

Processing looks quite solid, the blue applications (side cover, seams / headband), and the blue LEDs on the transmitter fit visually super Playstation 4. Incidentally, the transmitter automatically switches to off when you press the power button on the headset to switch off.

Now a few things that struck me also: I had some times that I could not hear my counterpart in voice chat - but he could hear me. I just tried it out the Turtle Beach PS 4 chat cable (TB450-3276-01) - it works :-) (I had originally bought for my PX5). I was also confirmed by the TB support that you can use this cable with no concern for the PX51. (The original / supplied cable has a connector contact more on headset jack).

In the previous (PX5) I sometimes had brief interruptions from the transmitter to the headset - is not happening to me in this model, despite close proximity to the WLAN router (Fritz box).

The Turtle Beach PX 51 I would not hesitate to buy it again, because it is precisely the options / features offering, which I consider personally meaningful and make the really fun ......
