Since I have seen both, it is easy to draw a conclusion:
The first point to say that both cards with the utmost circumspection must be removed from the shell, because you could damage very easily otherwise the gold foil, and ugly cracks are left.
The large world map (82x58 cm) is an absolute dream. Clear you really need a lot of space on the wall, it is really each country recognizable and easily rubbed off. Discovering new countries makes so easy and incredibly fun motivates one to travel more right! :)
The smaller version (just this) has since less convinced me because it really goes down really small. It is just scarce 30cm high, as you can imagine how small turn out each country. It is much more difficult to reveal this without damaging others. They need less space for the small price difference between the two maps (2-3), however, I personally would always fall back on the larger model, as it better meets the real meaning of the gift.
The gift itself is easily reached both times super and it will not be the last time that I give this world map :) Highly Recommended!
