The camera (or cameras that pack if purchased by 2) is very well appointed and well packaged. The setup is done first by Ethernet (cable) then when the WiFi is selected, it becomes completely autonomous and can be reconnected anywhere in the house (within range of the router obviously). We can re-enter its interface from any PC connected to the local network to further amend its parameters (its ON / OFF, sensitivity SOUND / IMAGE, motion detection zones etc ...). As for the mydlink app (PC, Android, Mac OSX, IOS ...), it will from outside access the camera from any device connected to the internet (WiFi as 3G for smartphones). Attention no night mode on this model, we must in this case opt for its large DCS-932L sister very much in line with but in the use of IR detection diodes (it is slightly more expensive)! D-link products well designed.
