The timer is to compare to my old timers and other very large and has almost the size of a small living room clock. But the numbers are also quite big and you can see the numbers better. The housing is pleasantly rounded and consists of silver and black plastic. All buttons are (quite small) labeled and easy to press. On the back you can see a show at the timer bracket should ask what works very well. Simultaneously, the bracket has a guide to hang him on a screw or nail. He also has centrally a magnet the size 2.5 cm * 4 cm. This was the first attempt the clock so that the magnetic wall to fix immediately out and I was able to save the timer just before shattering on the kitchen floor. After I fixed him with superglue again, I realized that the magnet in no way is sufficient to fasten the timer on the kitchen table or refrigerator, etc.. Slips down immediately and you have to save the timer time.
Scope of supply:
******************
- Timer
- Operating
Note: Batteries are not included!
Commissioning:
*********************
The commissioning of the timer is quite simple. To breathe life requires him to two AAA batteries. The compartment at the back can be opened and well on the floor the correct polarity is displayed in the form of a battery. After inserting the batteries the first is everything to zero and you have to or can set the time in the next step, or use it immediately.
Functionality:
******************
The input of the time is pretty easy with the Clock button. Hold for longer, then the time and with the keys for hours, minutes and seconds, the time can be set flashes. With the minutes button can be switched to 24 hour display. In the main view is above the time to see, including the milliseconds (yes you heard right milliseconds!) And then the stopwatch (hours, minutes and seconds in a display). The kitchen timer just has a stopwatch separately by the three timers. Completely nonsensical for a kitchen timer is displaying milliseconds. It would be useful here, in my personal opinion either a temperature display, or the current date, or an alarm have been based on the time.
With the Clock / Timer button, you can switch among the three timers. Unfortunately, you can not use it as a stop-watch this. Therefore, if one presses the buttons T1 to T3, which doesnt exist begins to run. One is always compelled to program a period of time previously. These hold the corresponding button T1 to T3 pressed a bit longer to start these flashing and then you can set down the appropriate time with the hours, minutes, seconds buttons. This is actually quite fast. Now you can start each timer with the buttons T1 to T3 alone or with ST / SP gleichzeitig.Ist all the time expired an alarm will sound for one minute a bit noisy, the display starts blinking and it appears that excessive time. Once programmed times can be reactivated with the Memory button again.
The stopwatch on the main runs, incidentally continue separately, if enabled.
Conclusion: Because I wanted to have the clock for my kitchen magnetic board and due to the weight or to the small magnet again she is slipping down there not so good for me. In addition, you can use it as a stopwatch three times not, but only as a timer. In my old clock I just needed to push it and you ran off the time. Have my old clock found on the net in another shop and get rid of this therefore send back.
Everyone has their own natural Preferencen and must decide for themselves whether or not the clock is suitable for your own purpose.
Here again, in my view, the advantages and disadvantages of the clock:
************************************************** *****************************
Benefits:
- Large numbers of older visible
- Somewhat cumbersome operation (for older not so good)
- Powered by standard AAA batteries
- Pleasant design
- Three separate timers, a stopwatch
- Operating instructions in German
Disadvantages:
- Housing fairly large
- The three times are only to be used as a timer
- Falls when using the magnet away from the wall (magnetic too weak)
- Like Magnet on first out (which have also been other reviewers reported)
- Somewhat cumbersome operation
- Operating in extremely tiny font
- Senseless for the kitchen area milliseconds display in a separate display on the main display
