I have several LED bulbs from Osram and Philips in use. The Philips is slightly cheaper and subjectively as bright as a 25W light bulb. It distributes the light pleasantly and has a warm light, which is desired by me. In contrast to Osram LED bulb is slightly larger, what with me in 2 lamps resulted that I could not use. So if space is not critical, such as in a ceiling lamp with open lampshades, the Philips LED bulb is currently favorable. About life, I can not say much, but it is a big advantage for energy saving lamps that full brightness is the same when you turn there.
