The light is warm (a light bulb comes very close) and sufficiently bright (as indicated 3x230 Lumen). By Spots can direct the light in any direction. LED generally appears more than normal incandescent lamps with the same number of lumens - here the Kunsttoffblende acts on the filament counter that is to scatter light in all directions. If you look into the lamp into it, however you will be clearly blinded - even more than in a comparable halogen lamp. Accordingly you should align the lamp so that you can not see inside.
Two criticisms there despite general satisfaction nevertheless:
1. The lamp is considered Class 2, a PE connection is not provided. The assembling with the plastic caps on the terminal strips is but so fiddly that it does not keep me - and thus is no protective coating and that the unit therefore actually re protection class 1. Well, I'm not Heimwerkrerking but a lamp should any reasonable person can attach, and I felt this protection as too fiddly. No risk, no fun: Nu she hangs up.
2. The packaging contains conflicting information about the performance: 3x3 watt and 3x4 watt. Aha. Yes what now? Is that really Philips? Already embarrassed.
